Starry sky pendant by GemDeDude Starry sky pendant by GemDeDude
This is made entirely out of polymer clay, nothing is painted. (Excepting the side of the pendant, where I used metallic paint. I plan on replacing it with polymer clay next time though. :D)

On the night sky you can see the moon and the Pisces constellation. :D In the pictures on the right you can see both sides of the pendant. :D

Did you create this as a cane? It's gorgeous, and if it's reproducible that would definitely be something I'd try (not his exact design of course). In other words I love it :)

No, this was not made as a cane. The gradient was obtained as a cane, but all the other details were added on the surface. :) I'm glad you like it and you should totally give it a try! :hug:

I'm new to clay ^^; gradients still scare me. How would you add surface details? With paint or... I think I might try this after I get a little more comfortable with polymer clay. :)

Gradients are hard to get if you don't have a "pasta" machine. If you can buy one, do it, it's totally worth it, especially if you sell stuff. :D

I added the surface details in polymer clay. :D It's like painting, but with colored clay and that machine and sculpting tools instead of paint and brush. ;P Maybe I'll film it next time I do it and post it on YouTube. :D
