Roots

A series of jewels named Rădăcini (Roots - I can't use diacritics in the title ), inspired by the Cucuteni culture, the culture of the people who inhabited my country thousands of years ago.

I used polymer clay, acrylics and varnish, bronze and leather.

In the middle you can see the original sketch. I had two plans for the necklace, I chose the leather because it seemed easier than wire and I didn't have much time, as I had to finish it today for a contest. You can also see pictures of the elements that inspired me from the Cucuteni culture.

The yellow "stone" is my personal touch. When I started to imagine them, my soul and my mind agreed that there needs to be some yellow in there. So I put some. ^^

I wish I could study history. One of my dreams is that me and Mugur (who has a passion for history) study history together at the University. He would go for History/Archaeology and I would go for Restoration. That sounds so awesome and badass in my mind!
