Description
In Romania, we have a traditional celebration of the beginning of spring, named Mărțișor (Romanian pronunciation: [mərtsiʃor]). On march the 1st girls receive little charms form boys or from other girls. These charms have a white and red string tied to them. And we wear one pinned on the left side of our chest.
You can read more about this tradition on wiki: [link] .
The design of this charm was inspired by the solar Dacian designs. I find it most fitting, as some historians believe that the tradition IS Daco-Thracian.
It is made entirely out of polymer clay (it's not painted).
