Gramma's kitchen - miniatures by GemDeDude Gramma's kitchen - miniatures by GemDeDude
I've always liked miniatures, but until now I didn't try to make a full set of them. :D

My thought was that nowadays all dolls come with modern miniature stuff and that it would be so cool to have stuff that would make a doll house look more rustic, more Romanian even. :D

The set includes: 3 pots different in size and their covers, a plate, a kettle, two chopper boards - a big rectangular one and a smaller round one, two wood spoons, a knife, 3 bowls and a frying pan.

The goodies included in the set are: a few chicken eggs, a few duck eggs, 3 peeled boiled eggs, 5 sunny-side up eggs, a hunk of cheese with two slices cut from it, and a mămăligă :giggle: (Romanian polenta - the yellow thing ;P). :D

I plan on making other foods and fruits too at this scale. In one picture I put a matchstick (4.3 cm) for size reference.

They are all made out of polymer clay, painted (some of them) and varnished.

Availanble in my Etsy shop: [link] . Please contact me for custom orders.

Here are more pictures of it on dA: [link]
And even more in this FB album: [link] .

Thanks for looking! :la:

Hmmm, nimic nu aduce aminte de cuhnia bunicii mai mult ca mamaliguta aburinda rasturnata din tuci pe o blana de lemn de brad si ouale prajite in tigaia de fonta innegrita de atata amar de vreme *dreaming away* Amazing realism, amazing work, I love the way the wood looks, great job!

 It would be hard to explain it for every piece. ;P My first try on the kettle was horrible, that I can say. It was the hardest to make. ;P They are all made with my hands. And I think that it's pretty obvious, because they are not "perfect"... you can see little bumps and stuff. ;P

that's also what makes them so unique :D it's kind of poetic, don't you think? being able to leave your fingerprints on the world

Well if you put it that way, it is indeed... I always thought I should try not to leave fingerprints, but now... maybe not so much. :D Thanks
