Description
A bit of what I had and a bit of what I didn't have yet, together.
In my short visit of this lively capital city I saw many interesting places, but, somehow, the Seine side remained in my memories as the most pleasant one. Maybe because it was not so crowded or maybe because it seemed to be a place of those who are in love. Of those who are in love with people, of those who are in love with river side picnics or, why not, of those who are in love with a little bit of loneliness.
Among the things I wished to see there is the cabaret. When I see a dancer on the scene, all smiling, I wonder how her life is behind the lights and the music. So I tried to picture a such moment in her life. I invite you to imagine the story of this moment by yourself.
The scene is painted on paper with watercolor and acrylics.

Any kind of feedback is welcomed, especially critique. This is my second painting in more than 10 years. I'd like to get better.

Seriously, is there something you CAN'T do?
I really like the depth in this painting, literally and figuratevly speaking.
